D-TRAX

D-TRAX® is a medical device used in spinal fusion procedures that treat the cervical portion of the spine.

If you are experiencing neck pain symptoms and have not found relief from more conservative approaches to treatment, you might talk with your doctor or consult with California Spine & Pain Institute about surgical options, including the D-TRAX procedure.

IS D-TRAX RIGHT FOR ME?

Surgical treatments using the D-TRAX device are recommended for patients who suffer from spinal stenosis and any other conditions causing the following:

Burning pain that radiates through to other parts of the body
Loss of sensation in the limbs
Lack of coordination or weakness in the limbs

California Spine & Pain Institute will only consider this procedure for patients who have not found relief through more conservative approaches to treatment.

AM I A CANDIDATE FOR D-TRAX?

All types of surgery can involve risk, no matter how minimally invasive. If you are experiencing neck pain, you should talk with your doctor about all of your treatment options, both non-surgical and surgical.

After a spinal fusion procedure, you may notice some loss of range-of-motion, but this can vary between patients.

If you have any questions about the D-TRAX procedure or are experiencing symptoms that are painful, make an appointment to talk with Dr. Magued Fadly and the California Spine & Pain Institute team today.

In the D-TRAX procedure, an incision is made, and the D-TRAX implant is secured in place.
